The accident happened on Friday afternoon and the injured man was rushed to hospital in an ambulance, where he underwent two operations, one for his spleen and a second for his head, as he had sustained extensive cranial injuries, as well as bleeding in the lungs and chest cavity.
The police have been informed and are investigating the incident.
