The inflation rate is on the rise again in the Eurozone. The annual inflation rate in the euro currency zone is expected to rise to 2.9% in December 2023 from 2.4% in November according to Eurostat's first estimate released on Friday, with food, alcohol and tobacco recording the highest annual growth rate in the month (6.1%), followed by services (4%), industrial products (2.5%) and energy (-6.7%).
